DIY: Giles Inspired Paperclip Necklace
This Giles necklace from the ss 2011 collection was an obvious DIY inspiration (duhhhh). Paperclip necklace = genius!
What you’ll need: Paperclips! Lots and lots of paperclips!
Place the paperclips in the outline to indicate how you’d like your necklace to look. It’s necessary to vary the number of clips in each row to achieve the layered effect. My shorter rows included 13 paperclips. The medium rows have 14 clips and the longer rows have 15 clips.
Be inspired. Get creative. Use silver, gold or even the colored paperclips and have fun!

Fabulousnesss!!!!
I wondered how you got the layered look.
Brilliant I say!!!
Love it.

Soooooo cute!!!! I can’t wait to try it. Maybe I’ll make a matching (but not wear it together) bracelet.

I used to wear this all the time when i was younger but my hair always got tangled into them. So i stopped wearing them because it hurt to take them off.
