Which foundation is best in testing? Here are our top picks!
Lumene natural glow foundation
Foundation with light formula and natural glow. SPF20. This is a foundation alternative that gives a light coverage and a nice natural glow. The product is easy to work with and also suitable for those who want a little more coverage as it was able to work up to a more comprehensive result. The Lumene foundation is not suitable for those seeking a high coverage. Although the product was able to work up, red pigments such as acne and rosacea can still be visible.
Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation
This is a foundation that is easy to apply and gives a natural result that lasts all day. A formula that works well for you who have a dry or exterior dry skin as it lays nicely over dry areas without getting cakey. This may not be an option for those who already have very natural shine as the product may make such a skin type look very shiny. If you have a slightly oily skin type then you may feel that you want to lower the result with a powder or a primer.
Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation
This alternative is a featured product among beauty reviewers out there, so we had high expectations even before the test – and certainly it lives up to its reputation.
A foundation that suits you with an oily or fat complexion that leaves a semi-matte and even results. It remains for a long time without getting stained and covered nicely throughout the day. A foundation that lasts for a long time and is actually worth its price. This option may not be as good for you with dry skin. The formula gives a very comprehensive result so it does not suit you who are looking for a very natural finish. In addition, the product is one of the more expensive alternatives we tested.
MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation Nc20
If you do not like having liquid products on your skin then this can be a good alternative. The powder gave a nice tone to the skin without getting cakey and dry.
It was easy to work with and you could easily build the product to the desired degree of coverage. A good alternative for those who want to put a liquid foundation with a powder that gives full coverage.
This option may not be for you who apply a product in the morning and want it to last all day. The high coverage rate disappears slowly but surely after a few hours and may need to be improved during the day.
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longer Foundation
First and foremost, this foundation is available in 50 shades to suit all skin tones – making it easy to find a color that is right for you.
This option is suitable for those who want to be able to build up the desired coverage level on their own liking and taste. Fenty’s foundation is easy to apply and gives a matte result that suits a person with oily to oily skin.
This foundation, however, we would not recommend to a person with dry or dry skin because it can easily feel cakey on such a skin type.
Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation
An affordable foundation that is lightweight and thin in texture which makes it suitable for most skin types.
It does not need much product to cover the entire face and it can easily be built up to the desired result without it getting cakey. In addition, this foundation has a high SPF that protects the skin during all seasons.
The product description says “full coverage” which we may not agree with to 100 percent. It may need to be supplemented with a concealer to achieve the desired result.
