Whilst glitter can enhance your look, it can be difficult to get the glitter to attach and to stay all evening. But fortunately, there are several good tricks you can take!
1. Start with a primer
Before applying your glittery or shimmery eye shadow, it is good to use a primer. Preferably an eye shadow primer. Take a little finger or brush and lubricate your eyelids. However, avoid wearing too much! An overly thick layer can cause the eye shadow to drop.
2. Add a base eyeshadow
If you put a white base under your glittery eye shadow, it will make the shade brighter and a little more vibrant. If you add a darker base, you will get a deeper and more saturated color. Then apply your glittery/shimmery eye shadow!
3. Use settings spray!
To really make sure your eyeshadow is seated, a good tip is to use setting spray afterward. You can also use a setting powder that also keeps your makeup in place throughout the evening.
