How to Choose the Right Party Makeup

DIY: Turn Your Jeans to a Skirt

To look nice, put on make-up and arrive at a party – yes, it really is something that goes beyond the ordinary.

To do makeup for everyday life compared to make up for a special party are two essential things that should be treated differently. The mistake that many people make is that they do their make up the same way as for everyday as for parties. Perhaps with a few minor tweaks.

We believe that you should try to use quality products at the party (and be disciplined enough not to use them too often. This enhances your look and makes you ready for party. Identify the difference between everyday and party.

There is a difference between make-up and make-up and the high price tag that in many cases will also stand for better quality. As simple as that. Here, however, one should know that makeup that lies in the middle segment also works in terms of price; it is the absolute cheapest products that rarely yield satisfactory results.

So the number one thing in choosing the right makeup for the party is choosing the right products and opening the wallet a little more. Number two is finding the right products for you. We are all different and depending on the skin tone you have, you should also try to find the right foundation for your tone. There are three skin tones and we were going to go through these and write what kind of foundation generally fits.

  • A warm skin tone – a foundation that is more yellowish
  • A cold skin tone – a more pink foundation
  • A neutral skin tone – here we recommend a beige foundation

There we have the foundation to make up for the party. Let’s go more into detail of how you can find the right makeup for the party.

Tips on how to do your makeup for party

Cover blushes and tear ducts around the eyes with a good concealer. It provides a secure base for the rest of your make-up – no matter how much you want to put. The eyes should always be highlighted!

Extend the lower part of the eye. We continue with our eyes. To get your best looking, try to pull it from the lower part of the eye and create the perfect “crow’s head” – something that makes your eye feel bigger. Use a narrow brush!
Black kajal in the inner eye. This gives a little “blackness” and adds some mystery. Uncomfortable to add? Try to look down at the floor in the opposite direction.

Gold Eyeshadow. Do you look tired? Try mixing a little – very little! – golden eyeshadow in your concealer. It makes you look extremely rested and fresh!

Primer before foundation. For those special parties, you can treat yourself to using a primer before foundation; it gives a lasting impression and the illusion of a flawless complexion.
Eyelash bend = bracket. Get those Betty Bop eyelashes using an eyeliner. Bonus tip: blow on it for a bit with your hairdryer before you start; a few seconds is enough!
Cross. Try putting a cross on your upper lip – in the middle – with a lipstick (in the same shade as the lipstick you should use). Mark the outline with the same pen before using your lipstick and you have the perfect brushing mouth.
