Contouring is hotter than ever, so it’s no wonder there are so many contouring palettes on the market.
To do a contouring makeup, start by applying a regular foundation on the face. It is best to use a brown-gray color to get the matte shade. It should be about two to three shades darker than your skin tone.
Shade the area you want to reduce or deepen. Common areas are under the cheekbones, temples, and sides of the nose.
You should use a narrow brush specially designed to shade with because it certainly does not look like you put on a bronzer. This way you build a face shape with the help of shadows.
You emphasize or reduce different areas of the face to get the optimal face shape. The most important trick is to get the shade in exactly the right place.
After applying foundation, use a good concealer to hide dark areas on the face. There may be dark circles under the eyes, blisters, and superficial blood vessels.
Then start with the darkest shade in your contour kit and create shadows. Apply it where you want shadows, such as the jawbones, jawline, and temples.
If you want a narrower nose, use the shadows on the side of the nasal bone. If you want to emphasize your mouth, you can also use shadow technology around the mouth and around the amorphous arch.
Finally, apply a loose powder that is transparent. Be generous here and put on a lot. Do not forget to apply on the neck so that the difference between face and neck does not become too sharp.
As a finishing touch, apply a little bronzer to give a sun-kissed finish to your face. In fact, more difficult than this, it does not have to be to put on a really good contouring.

The counting kit from Revolution also consists of a total of eight colors – four dark and four light. It has a lot of pigment in it so it must be easy on the hand to avoid sharp edges. Even the brightest highlighter has a lot of pigment and cannot be missed when in place.
We recommend this palette for those who are very used to contouring. It can be tough to use for a beginner.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit
Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit is available in three shades, and I have the brightest of them – Light to Medium. The palette contains six powder pans made for contouring. Two pink-toned highlighters (one matte and one shimmery), and one matte yellow-toned, two matte, warm bronzers, and one matte, cold shade made for shading.
Luxury contour kit from GloMinerals

A relatively small palette – with two colors for shading and two for highlighting. It is a mineral makeup, which means it is nicer to the skin and that you can wear it in the sun without risking being stained. There is less pigment in this palette, which means you have to work a bit more to get the color, unlike the other two.
