Complete Guide to Perfect Eyebrows

Eyebrow trends have varied throughout history. Right now, most of us dream of wide, naturally full-bodied brows but for example, in the 1920s it was narrow and round shape eyebrows hat set the trend.

No matter what eyebrow shape has been trendy, the eyebrows have always played a big role in the makeup world, because it is they that frame the eyes and make a mark on their entire face.

The so popular term “eyebrows on fleek” captures exactly what it is about – we all want perfect eyebrows, but what is perfect is of course very individual. Whichever style of brow you choose, you must use the right kind of brow products. Here we explain what differentiates the different product types, so you can easily find what you need to get eyebrows that are perfect for you!

Eyebrow: shape and fill

An eyebrow pen is the most common and easiest product to use to fix the brows, especially if you have a slightly brighter brow. Begin by outlining the shape of the brow. Make sure that the contours of the brow, which make up the shape itself, are not too hard. Then fill in the smaller parts with small, thin and clear lines similar to your own straws. If you want to have as natural an impression as possible, make sure to choose an eyebrow pen that is a shade lighter or max a shade darker than your own brows. Not sure which color is right for you? Start from your hair and the natural color you have on the roots of the scalp.

Eyebrow shadow: gives a natural look

Unlike the eyebrow pen, an eyebrow shadow gives a softer result. Many people, therefore, sketch the shape by first painting contours with a brow pen and then filling in with a brow shadow for a more natural result. The shade also fixes the pen and makes the color last better.

If you already have a shape and thickness of the brows that you are satisfied with, eyeshadow is also a good alternative to just define the brows a little.

Pomade: all in one product that requires practice

Eyebrow Pomade is creamy in texture and painted with a brush. It is a favorite of many as it gives color, defines the shape and fixes the brows at the same time. However, getting a perfect result with eyebrow pomade requires some practice. The secret is not to have too much pomade on the brush, to avoid the result being too harsh.

Eyebrow gel: for fixing and definition

Eyebrow gel is a product used primarily for fixation. When you have painted and shaped the brows, you finish with gel so that the brows stay in place. If you have used a pen and/or shadow to achieve your perfect color, a transparent variant is recommended, but there are also eyebrow gel with color for those who want to add a little extra. For those who just want to fix the brows and keep them as natural as possible, this product can be used separately.

Voila! Now you can easily get perfect eyebrows, or better yet, eyebrows on fleek!
