Pimples / acne
If the area is red you can use a green concealer, to begin with, to neutralize the red color. Then use a concealer that matches your skin tone a little lightly on top.
Dark rings under the eyes
Of course, it depends on how dark your rings are, but do you feel that a regular concealer is not enough, test with one that is a bit peachy and then use a light in your own skin tone on top.
That you are tired

Which type of concealer works best?
Liquid
Is usually a little lighter and has a buildable coverage from light to medium. Moisturizes a lot and is therefore good under the eyes.
Cream
Is more pigmented and usually covers better. On the other hand, it can be a little more difficult to work with, but is advantageously heated and applied with your fingers.
Brightening
Is usually in the form of a pen and can be used as a discreet highlighter and should reflect light and thus it is good under dark circles under the eyes. It can advantageously be used on top of a heavier concealer.
