DIY: Miu Miu Inspired Crystal Flats for The Zoe Report
Say hello to my favorite DIY project of 2013! Yes, I realize it’s only the 3rd week of the new year but these Miu Miu inspired crystal flats are just to fabulous for words. DIY: SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Crystal Cuff + A Sparkling Holiday GIVEAWAY
This is by far the most festive time of the year and to celebrate may I present to you the glitziest Glitter ‘N Glue DIY tutorial of 2012!!!! This crystal cuff is the perfect project to punctuate the end of the year. It’s also the perfect accessory to wear to that special New Year’s Eve party. It’s so major I felt it warranted an afternoon of crafts and cocktails with my friends. YEA PARTY!
Materials: A Metal Cuff (or Bracelet), Flat Back Crystals from SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL, Glue

First, layout your design.
Then apply a drop of glue to a toothpick and use the toothpick to apply the glue to the back of the crystal. This is the application method I personally like to use. I always make a big ole mess when I apply the glue to the back of the crystal directly from the tube.
Add the crystals on the cuff. If needed, use a pair of tweezers to carefully place the crystals.
Your design may change as you continue to apply your crystals, but my suggestion is to start with the center crystal and work your way out. At the end of the day the design is totally up to you. Have fun with it and always remember the more bling the better!!

Seriously talk about a great way to spend an afternoon with your friends. Everyone was so creative and took the time to custom design their cuffs. Everyone’s cuff spoke to their personality and no two cuffs looked alike.

WWD MAGIC DIY Lounge With Swarovski Elements
Last week I spent a little quality time at the Las Vegas Convention Center hosting the Swarovski Elements DIY lounge at the WWD MAGIC Tradeshow. I had a BLAST! I mean Vegas is always a good time, but throw in some crystals from Swarovski Elements and it’s almost too much fun for one girl to handle.
The tradeshow lasted 3 full days and everyday we DIYed a different Swarovski Elements embellished project. One day we made bracelets, then necklaces and finally earrings.
We all know how I love all things that go bling, but I’m currently beyond obsessed with the latest and greatest products from Swarovski Elements. Their neon crystal pearls are to die for. Seriously the colors are so vibrant and the matte finish just adds to their fabulosity. They’re available in craft stores now. You must run (…or sit at your computer and order from there internet here) and pick up a package. Have any of you played with the pearls yet? I know a few of you tweeted me that you are also obsessing.
At the lounge we made these quick and easy necklaces with the pearls. I’m loving my new neon necklace!! Not only is it on trend with the neon, but it also makes the perfect gift for all the Moms, MiMas, Aunties and Best Friends out there.
There was lots of fun going on inside the Swarovski Elements DIY lounge.
