DIY: Lucite Cuff Inspired by Tory Burch, DSquared and Vionnet
L to R: DSquared2 , Tory Burch , The Glamourai , Vionnet , Ben Amun
A great cuff is always in style. Lucite was a big trend this Summer, but I have a feeling that it’s not going anywhere for Fall. Lucite accessories are still popping up all over the place. I’m especially in love with the Vionnet clear lucite cuff with the brooch on top. It’s fancy!
I just love the look of a lucite cuff. Here’s a quick and easy way you can do-it-yourself.
{Materials} Plastic Tube, Jigsaw
If you can’t find one at your local hardware store call Bill at Solter Plastics in LA. He’ll send you one for about $10 + the cost of shipping
Using your jigsaw, cut the tube to about 3 inches in length. Then use the jigsaw to remove about a 1 inch panel from the tube. Make sure the opening is large enough for your wrist to fit through, but not so large that the cuff will fall off.
Now it’s time to add a little drama to your cuff! I spray painted a toy lizard gold and used my E600o to glue it to the top of my cuff.
Such a cute little guy! Now if they only looked this fancy in real life I wouldn’t be scared of them. I hate real lizards!!!!
Watch the video to see exactly how I made the cuff.

You are so creative, sweet and hardworking!
You obviously have a real talent for making, designing and re-purposing and I can only hope that someone out there is recognising that talent and paying you handsomely for it.
PS. You’re absolutely gorgeous, you look like a doll in some of your photos!
